The Confidence Score is calculated in code, not by a language model, so the same inputs always produce the same number. The AI only explains the result and reads news. Here is every input, every source, and every gap.

30-day realised volatility, ATR(14) relative to price, and drawdown from the 5-year high.

Daily transactions vs their 30-day average, hash-rate trend and average fees.
Development
Commits over 30 days, active contributors and repository stars.
News sentiment
AI-scored sentiment of recent headlines, weighted by how recent and how confident each read is.
Social sentiment
LunarCrush Galaxy Score, AltRank, share of positive posts and 24h change in social volume.
Derivatives positioning
Coinglass funding rates, open-interest change and long/short balance — extremes score badly, not well.
Tokenomics
Circulating supply against max supply, and issuance pressure.

Limits worth knowing

  • Free APIs rate-limit and occasionally fail. When a source fails, its category scores n/a for that scan rather than reusing stale numbers.
  • The score is a summary of public signals, not a prediction. Crypto markets move on things no dataset captures.
  • Backtesting and machine-learned signal weighting need months of stored scans — the app records score history from day one so this becomes possible later.
  • The tracked universe is the top 40 crypto assets by market cap plus metals, energy, agriculture, equity indices, the dollar index and the 10-year yield. The top 10 carry roughly five years of daily history; everything else carries two.
  • Each of the five daily scans covers one fifth of the universe, so every asset refreshes once a day while market-wide feeds refresh five times a day.
